Medical Transportation in Minneapolis

Mediride provides ambulatory non-emergency medical transportation for Minneapolis residents — door-to-door, scheduled in advance, and driven by people trained to help you get from your door to the right entrance.

Getting around Minneapolis for medical care

Minneapolis concentrates most of the metro’s major medical campuses, which means short trips but difficult arrivals. Downtown and university-area appointments involve ramp parking, one-way streets and long walks from any legal drop-off point. We plan the approach so you are set down at the correct entrance rather than the nearest kerb.

What we plan for here

  • Downtown and university-area drop-offs need entrance-specific planning
  • Winter street parking bans affect pickup points from November
  • Rush-hour timing on I-35W and I-94 is built into the schedule
